Monsters are Real!

Big Birds over Texas

by admin on Feb.01, 2010, under Uncategorized

There must be something about the Texas winters. During January and February of 1976, dozens of citizens of south Texas (from the Rio Grande Valley to San Antonio), were reporting sightings of enormous, flying creatures. The noteworthy encounters started on New Year’s Day, when two teenage girls in Harlingen observed a man-sized, vulture-like bird leering at them in their yard. It apparently left behind some impressive tracks that were six inches long and over an inch deep. Within a few days, Brownsville resident Alverco Guajardo had a run in with a winged monster that he said was, “Like a bird, but not a bird,” Guajardo stated that it looked like something, “Not of this world.” A week later, a Raymondville man named Armando Grimaldo was rushed to a hospital, after he claimed he was attacked by a gigantic, bat-like beast that descend from the sky, ripping his clothes with its claws. As media outlets around the world spread news of the strange sightings, more eyewitnesses came forward. Some described animals that resembled airplane-sized, leathery skinned pterodactyls, including three school teachers on San Antonio’s south side, who pulled their cars over on the way to work and watched two creatures soaring overhead. Reports died down significantly by March 0f 1976, but sightings occasionally still surface. It has been almost three years since my first book on the subject was published and I’m very pleased to report that a new publication is on the way, which promises to update my Big Bird research over that time. Stay tuned for some fascinating, new reports! ^v^

Ken, I have a “birdzilla” story from 1993 that I would recount to you, if you would like to hear it. Let me know.

Dear Ken, I just watched a vid on the hairless dog (monster) in Texas. I have had Peruvian Inca Orchids(hairless breed of rare dog) for years. There are around 150 in the USA. The animal in Texas looks exactly like one of the rare hairless breeds of larger dogs. Check out Xolo’s, PIO,Mexican Hairless. They range in size from toy’s 4# to about 65 #. It really makes great press for a monster though. Keep up the good work. I really appreciate people who are outside the masses. Thanks, Randy
